There is some disturbing video coming out of Florida of a mother spraying her daughter with a high-powered hose. She has now turned herself in to police to explain what happened.

Chilling surveillance tape of a mother and her child at a car wash in Orlando shows a mother turning a high powered hose on her 2 ½-year old daughter as punishment, police say.

"It looks like the girl probably had an accident - urinated or spilled a drink." Police say, "God knows what kind of punishment she gets elsewhere."

The manager of the car wash wasn't sure what had happened until she pulled the surveillance tape and watched.

"Why is somebody treating her this way? You don't do that to a kid. No child deserves that," says the car wash manager.

Police say the mother, who is five-months pregnant, says she didn't put the sprayer on full pressure. Full pressure is 1,200 pounds per square inch.

"If you've ever been sprayed with one of those, it's like getting sandblasted," say police.

"They came here, put two dollars into the machine, didn't even wet their car - went straight for the child," says the car wash manager.

The surveillance tape shows after the little girl was sprayed, her wet clothes were taken off and she was wrapped in a town and placed back in the car.

State Child Welfare investigators are also now looking into the case.
