Governor Pawlenty travels across Minnesota today to hold ceremonial signings of the bonding bill.
Pawlenty will attend ceremonies in Albert Lea, St. Cloud and Bemidji -- cities that will receive funding for local projects.
Earlier this week, Pawlenty signed the bill to finance construction projects across the state -- but not before striking 52 items from the 925 million dollar borrowing plan.
The Republican governor had warned lawmakers that the bill they sent him was too large. His line-item vetoes brought the bill's size down to 717 million dollars.
