Former Vikings running back, Onterrio Smith, was arrested early Friday morning for allegedly driving under the influence.
Sacramento police arrested Smith, 27, at about 4 a.m. at the intersection of Morrison and Disk Drive. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence and was also being held for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
Smith played for the Minnesota Vikings but was suspended during the 2005 season when he was caught with a device to beat drug tests.
He was also suspended in college for drug use.
