The University of Minnesota Friendship Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (FACSS) held a fundraiser for victims of the earthquake in China on Thursday.
FACSS members set up a table at the lower level next to the bookstore for people to donate cash or checks.
Monday's 7.9 earthquake was one of the worst earthquakes to hit China in three decades. Thousands have been killed and the death toll is rising daily.
