Caught on tape: Man attempts robbery with palm frond

A man tried to rob a store with a palm frond in Deland, Florida. That man is now charged with armed robbery after attempting to rob a convenience store with a palm frond on Thursday.

Surveillance video captured the incident.

You can hear him demand cash as he threatens to stab the clerk with the frond.

A worker then walked toward the robber with a bar stool and forced him out of the store.

The employee recognized the man and led police to him.
