MINNEAPOLIS -- Governor Tim Pawlenty is again serving as a high-profile spokesman for Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
Minnesota's governor appeared Sunday morning on ABC's "This Week" where he defended McCain o his immigration record and other issues. Democratic candidate Barack Obama was represented by Congressman Rahm Emanuel of Illinois.
Pawlenty has been the target of much speculation nationally that he is a lead contender to be McCain's running mate. Pawlenty has consistently deferred on the question of whether he would join the ticket.
