Hot Ticket: "Daily Show" comes to the RNC
Speaking of funny, hundreds of Comedy Central's The Daily Show faithful waited in line all day toda in downtown St. Paul hoping to get a seat for Tuesday night's show taping. "Thought I would stand in line for 3 hours, that is what I like to do with my free time," St. Paulite Anthony Koontz said. Koontz is a humble man, of humble means. So humble in fact he didn't shell out a dime for a Daily Show ticket. "I was told if you didn't have tickets you stand in the stand by line and if you did have tickets you stood in the general admission line," Koontz sheepishly explained. Where Anthony gets a little, well funny, is when he gets technical about which tickets he may or may not have. "Then I find out that the tickets are not actual tickets and they are eBay fake tickets?" Anthony's monologue about tickets is very politician like in that it makes no sense, and seemingly, has no end. But really, it's Anthony's side kick, Krystal Haley who really may be left out, in left field. "We actually have the not tickets," Haley attempted to explain. "That means you buy the right to not have a guaranteed seat." Yep, you heard the lady right, she paid for a seat she may never sit in.
