Minnesota's Independence Party reviewed the presidential candidates Saturday and found all of them wanting.
Chairman Craig Swaggert said the 70 delegates and 30 observers decided there wasn't anyone who quite matched up with the party's positions, although each of them had some similar positions on the issues.
The party heard presentations by representatives of Republican John McCain and the candidates of the Libertarian, Green and Constitution parties, as well as independent Ralph Nader, whose organization is not affiliated with the Minnesota party.
Democrat Barack Obama's campaign had pulled out of consideration earlier.
The Independence Party has factored into several statewide races and was the label former Gov. Jesse Ventura wore during his term. The party's U.S. Senate candidate this year, Dean Barkley, is polling in double digits.
