Independence Party candidate for 5th District pickets Star Tribune

Bill McGaughey, an Independence Party candidate for Minnesota's 5th district Congressional race, picketed the Star Tribune office Wednesday morning.

McGaughey said the newspaper is ignoring the race and treating the non-incumbents, McGaughey and Republican Barb Davis White, unfairly.

McGaughey said is showing a bias towards DFL incumbent Keith Ellison.

He points to an October 27th Star Tribune article written on the race.

McGaughey claims the bulk of the story was written about Ellison and not about himself or Davis White.
