So often, death, doesn't leave behind many answers.

That is the case tonight as we learn the victim of Sunday afternoon's murder suicide is 24-year-old Heather Rose McPherson.

Heather was shot to death by her on again off again boyfriend, 24-year old Sedric Larkins.

Larkins took his own life after shooting her in a McDonald's parking lot in Maple Grove.

Larkins shot himself in his car.

Heather McPherson's family did not want to comment Monday on her tragic death.

She leaves behind a nine-year-old daughter.

But the best friend of Sedric Larkins, Brian Harfield, did want to say a few things.

"It's just so unimaginable what happened, this is not the guy we know, that guy loves all people he comes into contact with," Harfield said Monday.

According to Harfield, Larkins had no enemies.

He was a standout football player, and team captain, at Blaine High School 6 years ago.

Harfield also said Larkins loved McPherson very much.

"I know he cared deeply about her, loved her.  Every time he talked to her these guys sounded like teenage kids talking on the phone the way they loved each other, I just don't get it."

Investigators say they do not know if Larkins and McPherson even spoke in the McDonalds parking lot before he began shooting.

Witnesses are telling police they didn't see any interaction before the shots were fired.

Police say they are getting cell phone records for Larkins and McPherson to find out how much, if any, they talked prior to meeting at McDonalds Sunday afternoon
