HUDSON, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers will "wait and see" what Brett Favre decides to do before they seek to restore their relationship, according to team president Mark Murphy.
Murphy didn't directly answer a question about whether a $20 million, 10-year marketing deal proposed to Favre last summer was still on the table. But Murphy said he wasn't sure what the Packers' future with Favre will look like, beyond the eventual retirement of his jersey.
Murphy and players Nick Collins, Jordy Nelson and Brady Poppinga were in Hudson for the team's "Tailgate Tour" of the state to mingle with fans and raise money for local charities.
Hudson is right across the river from Minnesota, where Favre speculation has swirled. The Vikings are interested if he decides to come back again.
