It was a scary scene for folks watching fireworks on the North Shore Saturday night. The annual display was at the Bluefin Bay Resort in Tofte.
Video of the incident was caught on tape by Daniel Duggan. You can watch it by clicking on the link to the right.
Local firefighters, who were in charge of the show, say one of the tubes they were using to ignite the fireworks ruptured.
The explosion sent a round into the stockpile of fireworks. The chief says about 60 rounds of fireworks all went off at once.
The crowds gathered to watch started running away. Amazingly no one was hurt.
