Anyone who has held public office can tell you, the world of politics is a dog eat dog business.
This weekend, State Senator and Republican Gubernatorial hopeful Mike Jungbauer found out it's not just 'dogs' that bite.
Campaign manager Mark Hayes says Jungbauer was putting a car in a shed on his East Bethel property Sunday night when he was attacked and bitten by a bat.
Jungbauer is now undergoing rabies treatments as a precaution.
