Family of four displaced in Washington Co. fire

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP, Minn. -- A house fire forced a family of four from their Washington County home overnight.

Crews were called to the home in the 1600 block of Orwell Avenue in West Lakeland Township just after 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

The fire chief says the fire started on the back deck and spread to the home.

The family of four made it out safely and is staying with friends.

Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
