KELLIHER, Minn. -- Investigators have arrested a woman in the shooting death of a 27-year-old man in northern Minnesota.
Authorities were called to a home near Kelliher on Tuesday and found Matthew David Albert had been shot in the head. Albert was taken to a Twin Cities hospital but was pronounced dead Thursday. The handgun believed used in the shooting was missing.
The Beltrami County sheriff's office says a 25-year-old woman was arrested Thursday afternoon. Authorities say the woman led officers to the missing handgun in Mizpah.
The woman was in jail.
