DULUTH, Minn. -- Bidding has started over for the infamous DWI chair used by a man who pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

The motorized recliner was momentarily taken off the eBay auction block Monday.

It was taken off the website, after bids for the motorized chair reached $43,300.

Proctor Police Chief Walter Wobig said officials with Ebay claimed the original listing went against the websites rules.

But another auction is back up and the current bid is above $6,000.  The new auction ends November 5.

The winning bidder has to either pick up the seized motorized La-Z-Boy from the Procter Police Department or arrange for its shipping.

The chair is powered by a lawnmower engine. It comes equipped with a stereo, cup holders and lights.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the police, state and the prosecuting attorney.

Wobig cautions that the chair isn't "street legal," so any buyer should stick to the living room -- or at most a parade.

The former owner, Dennis LeRoy Anderson, pleaded guilty this month to operating the chair while intoxicated. His family is also auctioning on eBay an autographed photo of him riding the La-Z-Boy to help with his fees.

The initial photo sold for $710 and now there are other autograph photos available for $25.

Anderson says any money he earns will go towards paying off his fine and attorney.
