Former Tom Petters associate Bob White told a jury he forged or falsified more than ten thousand documents over the past 6 or 7 years, in order to keep Tom Petters' multi-billion dollar ponzi scheme afloat.
That was the emphasis of the prosecution's case on day 8 of testimony in Petters' federal trial.
But Petters defense team seized White's admissions as a chance to undermine his credibility, asking why a man who admits to lying in documents 'and' to investors should be believed.
The trial is scheduled to resume Monday.
