BUFFALO, Minn. -- A Buffalo school teacher is suspected of allegedly passing naughty notes to two girls in his 7th grade class.
School officials called police on Wednesday after the students, ages 12 and 13, turned over the sexually explicit notes. At the time, the students said they did not know who gave them the notes. They also told authorities there was no other suspicious contact or behavior between them and the teacher.
Authorities say there appears to be sufficient evidence to pursue criminal charges against the male teacher who has been with the district for more than two decades.
The teacher is not in police custody, but has been placed on paid administrative leave.
