MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins unveiled new team uniforms and logos on Monday to be worn during the team's inaugural season at Target Field.
The primary home uniform has a slightly altered "Twins" script. The primary road uniform will be a solid grey (no pinstripes) fearing a "Minnesota" script inspired by the team's original "Minnesota" script from 1961-1986. Also, a secondary throwback uniform was unveiled that will be worn on Opening Day as well as every home Saturday game during the season.
Changes to the team logos include an inaugural season logo, a change to the primary logo, and a 50th season logo.
"New uniforms and logos are just the beginning of all the new and exciting things we have in store for the 2010 as the Twins begin a new chapter in Minnesota baseball history and celebrate our 50th season," said Twin President Dave St. Peter.
The new look was unveiled Monday and jerseys are available for sale at all three Twins Pro Shops in the metro.
Target Field Opening Day is slated for April 12, 2010 against the Boston Red Sox.
