ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota lawmakers are looking for the public's ideas on changing the way business is done in the state.

Rep. Paul Marquart, a Democrat from Dilworth, says citizens can offer their ideas via a new Web site, www.house.mn/redesign. Marquart says serious reform will improve the efficiency of state services and prevent future layoffs of state workers.

The goal is to get six good ideas for a reform bill.

Lawmakers did the same thing in 2007 for a property tax bill.
Marquart says lawmakers of both parties will talk about reform ideas, but there's no deadline for a plan.
