DAYTON, Minn. -- The Hennepin County medical examiner's office has identified the body found in the Elm Creek Park Reserve in Dayton.
He's 26-year-old Christopher Cox from Champlin.
Officials have told the Star Tribune of Minneapolis that the man apparently died from a shotgun wound to the head and the body had been in the park for months.
The remains were found by a man walking in a wooded area in the north end of the park on Friday afternoon.
