WOODBURY, Minn. - The Animal Humane Society is trying to track down the owner of a cat that was rescued from a median in the southeast metro.
This cat had been spotted on the Interstate 694 and I-94 interchange since September.
Capturing the feline proved difficult and dangerous.
Police received a number of reports about accidents caused by people trying to rescue the cat.
A Woodbury police officer managed to capture the cat on Christmas day.
The Animal Humane Society is hoping the cat's owner comes forward. If no one claims the cat, then he goes up for adoption.
