GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Nothing like a cold beer to warm you up in the middle of winter! The upcoming Winterfest 2012 on Friday night, Feb. 3, is the place to be for craft beer samples.

Tickets for Winterfest, the annual winter beer party hosted by the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, sold out in under a minute.

Minnesota Craft Beer Fast Facts
The Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild was founded in 2000 to promote Minnesota breweries, create an open line of communication between brewers, and be an advocate for more modern beer laws.
The Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild has 29 breweries and brewpubs as members and 9 associate members. Seven of those were new members in 2011.
In January 2012, The Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild welcomed another two new members - Lucid Brewing and Boom Island Brewing.
