Jonathan and Shannon Stacke in happier times
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Bloomington Police are searching for someone who injured a motorist by throwing a heavy metal vise through his windshield.
Deputy Chief Rick Hart says it happened Monday night around 7:30pm as the victim drove southbound down Normandale Boulevard near the intersection with Mount Normandale Drive. Officers responded and found the driver suffering from serious facial injuries.
The vise was thrown by someone either on foot or driving in a passing car.
Investigators are growing more concerned as Monday's incident is the sixth reported to Bloomington Police from that general vicinity over the past month.
The Bloomington Crime Prevention Association is offering a $1,500 reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Monday night's incident, or the others.
If you know anything about who may be responsible, call Bloomington Police at 952-563-8628.
A fund has been setup at TCF Banks for Army National Guard Sergeant First Class Jonathan Stacke, who has already undergone two surgeries.
