GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- Today, Jacob A. Gayle, Vice President of Medtronic Community Affairs and Executive Director of the Medtronic Foundation, talked with us about Project 6.
Named for the sixth tenet of the Medtronic Mission-to maintain good citizenship as a company-Project 6 is a global volunteer program that unites Medtronic employees through volunteerism by collectively putting the Mission in Motion during the month of June.
Each facility involved in Project 6 offers unique volunteer project(s) to meet a particular need in the local community. Projects range from cleaning local parks, to assisting at homeless shelters, to painting homes for the elderly.
"Project 6 is one real and relevant way we can all get involved in our communities and fulfill our Mission," Gayle says.
