SHOREWOOD, Minn. - The mayors of Shorewood, Excelsior and Tonka Bay had just three minutes to race around the Shorewood Cub Foods store and load up their shopping carts on Thursday.

Their haul totaled more than $4,700.

The Shorewood Cub Foods will donate that amount of money to the I-C-A Food shelf and the Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior and Excelsior Rotary Clubs matched it.

So how can you help the hungry?

September is Hunger Action Month.

If you shop at Cub Foods, you can round up your grocery total to the nearest dollar and the change will go to a food shelter in Minnesota.
