GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.--  Hoda Kotb's new book, Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives investigates the powerful question: What if you, facing a game-changing event or decision right now, could see ten years into the future?

In the book, Hoda sheds light on six inspiring stories of ordinary people who reinvented themselves in extraordinary ways over the course of ten years.

Hoda chronicles six read-it-to-believe-it stories of personal transformation-people who have not only survived hardship, but have turned it into something positive.

The cast of inspirational characters includes:
• Amy Barnes, who escaped an abusive relationship, lost an astounding 340 pounds, and now encourages woman to cultivate their emotional and physical strength
• Lindsay Beck, who survived a rare and devastating cancer in her early twenties and founded Fertile Hope to address reproductive preservation for cancer patients
• Roxanne Quimby, whose decision to pursue an art degree and back-to-nature lifestyle created a decades-long estrangement with her father, a Harvard MBA, and who goes on to build the multi-million dollar company Burt's Bees.

You can find Hoda's book, Ten Years Later, in bookstores everywhere.
