GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- Looking for a good thriller at the box office this weekend? "Trance" may be just the ticket.
James McAvoy plays an art expert, who helps a group of criminals steal a painting worth millions of dollars, but he forgets where he hid it after he's hit in the head during the heist. So, he goes under hypnosis to try to remember. But he ends up remembering more than he bargained for.
The movie is directed by oscar-winner Danny Boyle, of "Slumdog Millionaire" fame, and McAvoy says it was Boyle's artistry that makes this psychological thriller really entertaining.
"Trance" opens in Twin Cities theaters on Friday, April 12. For more information, click here.
