GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Fall is a time for new beginnings, and it's the perfect time to get creative for family time.
Happi Olson from Creative Kidstuff joined KARE 11 Today to share some new activities for families to try.
Here are her suggestions:
Try a new hobby: Red Tool Box is a line of real tools made just for kids. Youngsters can saw, hammer and drill away. There are kits to build or the tools can be used free form.
Try new foods: Plan a taste testing to discover new foods that might become new favorites. Shop for the items as a family. Assign each family member to choose one or two new foods or recipes. Prepare the food tasting together. Give each family member a score sheet with the names of the food and scoring.
