GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- Yet another best-selling young adult novel is making the leap from the page to the screen--Stephen Chbosky's touching coming-of-age story, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower".
The film version stars "Harry Potter' alum Emma Watson as a high school senior who befriends an awkward freshman, played by Logan Lerman.
Chbosky was tasked with not only writing the movie's screenplay but also directing it as well. And the first-time director received high praise from his seasoned leading lady.
