Downton Abbey does a wonderful job of depicting all facets of life in the 1900's- including the fashion! Our first model is wearing a more modern version of the iconic 1920's flapper dress. This updated version from BCBG Max Azria is a true homage to the roaring 20's as it features the layered panels of tassels which make this dress a perfect choice for a night on the town. We've paired this dress with a classic pair of black pumps and a delicate clutch to complete this sophisticated look. The good news is this look won't empty your wallet.
Our next model is wearing a fabulous lace print chiffon dress from Banana Republic Factory Store. This ladylike look is reminiscent of Lady Mary and Lady Cora who are often seen wearing flowy feminine frocks. As the dress is an updated version of what we would see on the show, we've completed the look with a Mary Jane style heeled shoe from Aerosoles that is often seen on many of the female characters on the show. We've added a simple white cardigan and a long draped vintage inspired necklace to take this look up a notch and make it perfect for any occasion. To complete the look we've added these close toed heels with a bow detail.
