GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - His life and times were worthy of a country song and now the hard lived life of the country legend Johnny Cash is taking shape on a stage at the Plymouth Playhouse.
Chad Willow, music director/performer, joined KARE 11 News @4 to tell us all about it.
There are no Johnny Cash impersonators in this production and all of the audience favorites are there including Country Boy, Far-Side Banks of Jordan, Daddy Sang Bass, Get Rhythm, Ring of Fire, Hey Porter, Going to Memphis, Cocaine Blues, Folsom Prison Blues, Man in Black, Boy Named Sue, I Walked the Line, Ragged Old Flag and concludes with I've Been Everywhere.
It takes you on this inspirational, soulful, with moments of humor and sometimes dark journey of his life and music.
