GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Feeling a little cabin fever? Then you might want to head to St. Paul's River Center this weekend where you'll find the Minnesota Home and Patio show.
Vicky Vogels from the Minnesota Horticultural Society joined KARE 11 News @4 to give us a preview of something kids will really dig, the Kids' Potting Bench. She brought with her some of the bedding plants and pots used by children as they learn how to pot a plant.
In addition, there are hundreds of exhibits that take you inside this year's home and gardening trends. You can also visit with designers, contractors, architects, and remodelers to get those spring projects underway. Displays range from home furnishings to kitchen and bath products, windows and doors; from gazebos, decks and masonry materials to gardening supplies.
The Butterfly House also makes a comeback. It's filled with more than 5,000 fluttering, flying, gentle and delicate butterflies in a rainbow of hues. What a great way to celebrate spring!
