GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Tickets are now on sale for Diana, A Celebration, the award-winning exhibition that chronicles the life of Diana, Princess of Wales.
The exhibition will open at Mall of America on Level 4, East on Feb. 4 and run through June 10, 2012.
Exhibit handlers Nick Grossmark and Graeme Murton joined KARE 11 to share some of the exhibit with us.
Some featured items they brought to the studio were:
-Diana's wedding earrings. Note: the earrings were returned to Althorp for Diana's sister Jane to wear to William & Kate's wedding.
-Prayer book from Mother Theresa.
-Childhood photo book or diary.
On loan from Althorp Estate, the Spencer family's 500-year-old ancestral home in England, the exhibition contains 150 objects throughout nine galleries, ranging from Princess Diana's royal wedding gown and 28 of her designer dresses to family heirlooms, personal mementos, items representing her abundant charity work, paintings and rare home movies and photos.
Advance VIP tickets are now available to purchase at Mall of America guest service desks. VIP tickets are valid any day of the exhibition and grant immediate access to the front of the line.
General admission tickets will be available for purchase beginning Feb 4. at Mall guest service desks and the exhibition box office. Tickets are also available online through Ticketmaster.
