Nothing found after bomb threat reported at Mpls. daycare

MINNEAPOLIS - Authorities say a call reporting a bomb threat at a Minneapolis daycare is being investigated, after a search of the building found nothing suspicious.

Minneapolis Police tweeted shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday they were investigating the bomb threat on the 100 block of Marquette Avenue South. They did not list the daycare's name but said a call was made to the daycare's office, reporting the threat.

Children inside the daycare were moved to a nearby building and the entire block of Marquette was evacuated, as a precaution, according to Scott Seroka, police spokesperson.

About half an hour later, police tweeted the threat was cleared by bomb-sniffing K9s and nothing was found. Everyone was being let back into the building.

They say there are no injuries and they are working to trace the call that was made.
