Eleven Who Care 2012 ceremony

MINNEAPOLIS – The 2012 Eleven Who Care award recipients honored at a recognition event on Wednesday, June 18 in Minneapolis. The Eleven Who Care program was created by KARE 11 in 1984 to recognize outstanding volunteers in the community and to inspire others in the community to get involved. The recognition event took place at the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans’ auditorium at 625 4th Avenue South in Minneapolis and featured the inspiring stories of this year’s honorees. The event was hosted by KARE 11’s Julie Nelson and Diana Pierce. The recognition event was attended by family and friends of the honorees and was a special evening to thank them for their outstanding efforts. The stories of the honorees are also shared on KARE 11 and kare11.com throughout the year.
