Plymouth man wins 2nd major lottery prize

ROSEVILLE, Minn. - No tricks for this local man. Anthony Fusaro, of Plymouth, is cashing in on the treats this Halloween, winning his second major prize from the Minnesota Lottery in two years.

Fusaro was the lucky recipient of the Gopher 5 jackpot in the Oct. 28 drawing and won $874,766. This comes a year after he took home a $1 million Mega Millions prize in June 2015.

Fusaro promises it's nothing more than "pure luck," adding that he's "always believed it would happen again."

Fusaro used his $1 million winnings in 2015 to buy a new home, pay off his student loans and put the rest in the bank.

This time, he's looking to becoming completely debt free and to pay off his new mortgage entirely.

"I still think I'm going to do it again," he told the Minnesota Lottery.

Fusaro bought his winning Gopher 5 ticket at the SuperAmerica on 4325 Peony Lane N., in Plymouth.

The winning numbers were 13-18-21-22-38.
