What you need to know before voting

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Election day is right around the corner and if you didn't already vote early you'll need to make sure you are going to the right polling place.

The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State makes it easy to find.  Go to their website and put in your zip code or county. 

They also have information on voting hours, polling place rules and your rights as a voter.

For more information on early voting and where to find your early voting place you can go to the Minnesota Secretary of State website. 

For early voting in-person voting hours in Minneapolis have expanded to 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Friday Oct. 24 - Nov. 4; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5; noon - 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 and Nov. 6; and 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.

 Any Minneapolis voter can vote early by mail or in person at one of four locations around the city. They are Downtown Early Vote Center, 217 S. Third St.; North Early Vote Center, 2100 Plymouth Ave. N.; South Early Vote Center, 1860 E. 28th St.; and Northeast Early Vote Center, 2516 Central Ave. NE.
