MINNEAPOLIS -- Bobby Z, former drummer for Prince, is once again partnering with the American Heart Association to host the 2nd Annual Benefit 2 Celebrate Life on Saturday March 9th at First Avenue in Minneapolis.
The benefit is set out to raise heart-health awareness with a music concert featuring celebrity guests. Guests will include Maya Rudolph, Gretchen Lieberum, Questlove (with The Roots on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), Andre Cymone, Dez Dickerson, Dr. Fink, Alexander O'Neal, Stokley (of Mint Condition), and more!
Tickets are on sale now and cost $65 for general admission and $150 for VIP admission. VIP admission includes entry into the VIP Party starting at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, a commemorative photo, and chanced to meet Bobby Z and other performers.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for general admission. Concert will begin at 8 p.m.
