MINNEAPOLIS -- Cormac O'Shea of the Irish Fair of Minnesota talks about the upcoming St. Patrick's Day festivities around the Twin Cities.
The Twin Cities Ceili Band & Friends will be performing at the Saint Patrick's Day Irish Dance in Saint Paul on Sunday. The show will also feature Paul McCluskey, and the Twin Cities Irish Set Dance Club. The performance will go from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday at The Celtic Junction. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under and adults ages 65 and older. Children ages 5 and under receive free admission.
The Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis will also be celebrating Saint Patrick's Day with live music beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Local bands performing include The Langer's Ball, Hounds of Finn, and the Wild Colonial Bhoys. The O'Shea Irish Dancers, Rince na Croi Irish Dancers, and the Brian Boru Pipe Band will also be performing at the event.
Tickets are $20 the day of, and $18 in advance.
Proceeds from both events go to support the cultural activities at the Irish Fair of Minnesota.
