MINNEAPOLIS -- The Stone Arch Bridge Festival kicked off Friday along the Minneapolis Riverfront.
This annual celebration of arts and music is free and fun for the whole family with lots of activities throughout the weekend. Family activities can be found in Father Hennepin Park located at the foot of the Stone Arch Bridge and include face painting, caricature artist, and a funny family photo opportunity.
Local and national artists will be at the Festival with their works on display for patrons to view. The live music line-up for Saturday night includes BloodnStuff at 7:30 p.m. and The Honeydogs at 9 p.m. at Water Power Park.
Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for artist booths and music, and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Riverfront Concert on Water Power Park. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
