The Invisible Element of Place
MINNEAPOLIS -- In "The Invisible Element of Place: The Architecture of David Salmela", author Thomas Fisher and photographer Peter Bastianelli-Kerze explore the beauty and the practicality of Salmela's award winning designs.
A book launch event will take place on Saturday, April 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the American Swedish Institute (2600 Park Avenue, Minneapolis).
Festivities will begin with a reception in ASI's Grand Hall from 6-7 p.m., with opportunities to shop in the ASI Museum Shop, enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, and visit a cash bar. Salmela, Fisher, and photographer Peter Bastianelli-Kerze will sign books during the reception. At 7 p.m., Fisher and Salmela will give a short talk and slideshow presentation on the book. This book release party is free and open to the public.
