GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Ted Chalupsky from The Right Staff, an employment service firm, stopped by KARE 11 Saturday to talk about the state shutdown's impact on Minnesota's job market.
Chalupsky says temporary staffing companies will see an influx of job seekers as government employees look for temporary or seasonal jobs to bridge their income needs during the shutdown.
The state shutdown will also hit the private sector. The government is one of the largest employers in the state, and Chalupsky says this will leave many Minnesotans with less disposable income.
