MINNEAPOLIS -- Mini Medical School is a semi-annual program that brings in roughly 250 people from the community and teaches them the latest and greatest U of M medical research up close and personal.

One night a week, for five weeks, the Mini Medical School transforms people in the community to medical students. They learn from renowned doctors and get hands-on lab experience.

This session is all about cancer-a disease that has likely touched every person in this state. This would be in advance of their upcoming Mini Medical School event that will focus on battling cancer.

People are encouraged to sign up for Mini Medical School so they can see and learn for themselves this fall.
