ST. PAUL - Summer is a time for fun for in the sun, but it's also important to keep kids learning and their brains engaged. The city of St. Paul and St. Paul Public Schools are partnering to help kids avoid the dreaded "summer slide."
St. Paul Public Schools is urging parents to check out the Sprockets program, which helps pair kids with after-school and Summer programs.
The City of St. Paul is also making sure kids are nourished by providing free Summer meals.
Both parties appeared on KARE 11 Sunrise Wednesday, giving tips for places to visit and Summer project ideas.
