State Patrol advises against travel in northwest Minn.

MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Minnesota State Patrol is advising against travel in portions of northwest Minnesota due to white out conditions.

Roads in and out of Moorhead, Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks are experiencing difficult driving conditions.

Motorists should expect blowing snow, low visibility and slippery roadways.

US Highway 2 is closed in both directions between the start of the highway near East Grand Forks and US Highway 75 near Crookston.
