Billy Emmers of Maple Grove is 27 years old and battling stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He's trying to work to pay his bills at the same time he's undergoing chemotherapy.
Friends and family hope a fundraiser will take off some of the financial pressure so Emmers can concentrate on the fight at hand.
A fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, February at Mama G's (Highway 101 and Country Rd. 30) in Maple Grove from noon until 4 p.m.
Enjoy beer, brats, silent auction and a drawing. The suggested donation is $20.
