The South Metro Blue Star Mothers of America host their annual Blue Star Bash Saturday, May 19th at the Bloomington Knights of Columbus Hall, 1114 America Blvd. West in Bloomington from 7 p.m. to midnight.
This event benefits Fisher House, which provides low-cost housing for service members and their families as they undergo medical treatment.
Procees also benefit "Homes for Our Troops," which provides adapted housing for wounded service members, and "Sew Much Comfort," which provides free adaptive clothing.
