Half Pint Horses is a Minnesota non-profit with a mission of bringing trained, miniature horses to provide therapy for people in nursing homes and hospitals.

They have a variety of events planned this summer to raise money and donations to pay for the boarding and care of the horses.

The first is Saturday, June 30th at the Chanhassen Farmer's Market at 10 a.m.  The public is invited for "Reading with Horsepower" at the market in City Center Park.

The horses will be back at the same market and location every Saturday in July for various educatioinal events and crafts involving horses.

All events are free, however, donations are welcome.  For more information, visit Half Pint Horses.
