The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance hosts the 11th annual Walk for Thought Saturday, September 22nd in Saint Paul, Duluth, Rochester and Saint Cloud.
Proceeds help the 100,000 people who live with a disability due to brain injury each and every year in Minnesota. Life-changing brain injury can happen due to vehicle crashes, falls, sport-related concussions, near-drownings, shaken baby syndrome, active duty injuries, just to name a few causes.
The Brain Injury Alliance works to support patients as well as well as the professionals who work with them.
The walks take place in Como Park in Saint Paul, Canal Park in Duluth, Silver Lake in Rochester and CentraCare Health Plaza in Saint Cloud.
Registration is at 9 a.m. followed by the walk at 10 a.m.
